Great netball game between the staff and Year 6's yesterday! It was an intense contest, with flamboyant play on both sides, but without a doubt the Year 6's finished as champions!
And is that a new extension to our fabulous Trim Trail?! Massive thank you https://t.co/urn9kitfIn!
The macarena, the cha cha slide, the conga, real live (inflatable) sharks, unicorns and flamingos, sunshine, dancing, ice lollies... what more do you need for a fabulous Summer Party?! Oh yes, the totally awesome kids of JKPS! And loads of fun was had by all!
ear 5 finished their topic on Titanic by publishing fabulous short stories that demand to be read! Well done Year 5, you have produced detailed, descriptive and emotive stories that can be read again and again.

An emotional end to the year with the Year 6 graduation party on Friday afternoon. Thank you to all those who helped organise and provide refreshments, and thank you @helenhayes_ for your kind and inspiring words.
Extremely entertaining performance of an alternative version of Sleeping Beauty by Year 6 on Friday! Year 6 - you all did yourselves, your teachers and your families proud!

We will hold open days at school for parents and carers who will apply for their child(ren) to join Reception in September 2020 as follows:
Friday, 11 October 2019
Friday, 8 November
Wednesday, 18 December
All sessions will start at 10am and run for an hour. There will be short talks by the Headteacher and the Early Years Foundation Stage Lead, and a tour of the school.
Prospective parents are welcome at any session - no need to book a place.
We have a small number of vacancies in all school years and are able to fill these at any time. The school controls its own admissions, so if you want to find out more about moving your child to JKPS, please contact us.
For our September 2019 Reception intake, we currently have a waiting list. If you applied for a place but didn't yet receive an offer, please contact either Southwark Council or us directly to check your child is on the waiting list and in what position. If you have recently moved into the area, it's not too late to apply: please contact the school for more information.
