Judith Kerr Primary School enjoys mutually beneficial partnerships with a number of local and national organisations.
We have a strong relationship with the German Kindergarten, based near JKPS and from whom a number of children have joined our school. As part of transition, the Kindergarten and JKPS Reception children have outdoor learning sessions together.
The German Kindergarten is a network of 4 Kindergartens in the local area led by Bettina Sebek. The children receive early years bilingual education in English and German.
Judith Kerr Primary School works closely with the Goethe Institut. Our children receive a qualification for the learning of German when they get to year 6. The Goethe Institut supports our German curriculum development and provides access to valuable teaching and training resources.
Our sports provision forms part of the London PE & Sports Network at Bacon’s College, Southwark. This supports our school with the offer of competitive sports as well as a wider offer for sports provision and staff development.
We are grateful for the support of Project Learning Garden, who have helped our parent volunteers create wonderful growing spaces around the school.
At JKPS we work with the Lambeth Teaching Schools’ Alliance, who support our whole school improvement effort.
JKPS is delighted to have been named a @musicmarkuk member, which is a recognition of our commitment to providing an outstanding music education for all our pupils.
