School Governors

The Judith Kerr Primary School Local Governing Body (“LGB”) would like to hear from members of our parent or local community who wish to serve the school as Governor and who complement the skills and experience currently contained in the LGB.

Members of the LGB are appointed by CfBT Schools Trust (“CST”) on the basis of their skills and experience and also of their commitment to work as part of a multi-talented team for the benefit of every child at the school. The LGB is accountable to CST for its performance.

Judith Kerr Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any appointment to the LGB will be subject to to the receipt of an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Class Teachers for September 2017

We are looking for teachers with ambition and vision; someone who will thrive on our core values of academic excellence, community engagement, personal development as well as sharing our goal of delivering a bilingual German education for everyone. Our vision is for children at Judith Kerr Primary School to live and learn two or more cultures, preparing them to become socially active and open-minded citizens.

If you are a qualified teacher, with boundless energy and enthusiasm to help us continue on our journey in our Free School, then we would like to meet you. You will be an excellent classroom teacher and have the capability and determination to provide outstanding lessons every day.

NQT’s are welcome to apply.

Knowledge and experience with the British National Curriculum is essential. Teachers do not need to be German speakers to apply; we offer opportunities for you to learn German whilst at JKPS.
