Work at JKPS

Class Teacher

At Judith Kerr Primary School we are passionate about using early language acquisition to open up opportunities for children from all backgrounds. The school opened in September 2013; we have created a learning community where all children learn in English and German, where high expectations and innovative teaching ensure that all children achieve their best. Due to our expansion, we now need outstanding teachers who are hardworking, reflective, resilient, and passionate about learning to work with us in taking this school community forward on its journey to excellence.

We are looking for someone with ambition and vision; someone who will thrive on our core values of academic excellence, community engagement, personal development as well as sharing our goal of delivering a bilingual German education for everyone. Our vision is for children at Judith Kerr Primary School to live and learn two or more cultures, preparing them to become socially active and open-minded citizens.

If you are a qualified teacher, with boundless energy and enthusiasm to help us continue on our journey in our Free School, then we would like to meet you. You will be an excellent classroom teacher and have the capability and determination to provide outstanding lessons every day.  NQT’s welcome to apply. Knowledge and experience with the British National Curriculum is essential. Teachers do not need to be German speakers to apply, we offer opportunities for you to learn German whilst at Judith Kerr.
